Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the CFO, this position will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating training programs to support the professional growth and development of the company employees that will enable leader effectiveness and improve performance and engagement across the organization.

Duties:
  • Lead classroom sessions, virtual training, and team facilitation
  • Design and develop blended learning experiences including eLearning, virtual sessions, in-person workshops and team facilitation
  • Develop and maintain an annual training calendar for staff training
  • Assist in evaluating vendor training programs and seminars
  • Support performance management and recognition initiatives
  • Provide backup support for the payroll processing and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
  • Provide backup support to HR Generalist in administering benefits, recruitment, and onboarding new hires
  • Work effectively and efficiently in cross-functional departments including sales, operations, logistics, shipping and receiving
  • Continuously monitor and adopt best practices in employee learning and development
  • Ability to work proactively, prioritize tasks and to manage time effectively
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field such as Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design or leadership development, including some experience within a corporate setting
  • Ability to assess needs and recommend appropriate learning interventions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SRHR)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime, nights and weekends if needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; with responsive feedback at all times.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Candidates fluent in English and Spanish are strongly preferred
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
